Twin Ports Dog Training Club Annual Awards
The following guidelines are used in determining eligibility for the awards presented at the Annual Awards Dinner.
1. The Current Awards Year is defined at Sept 1″ through August 31″. After August 31″ all wins will go toward awards for the next year.

2. The deadline for getting all information to the club statistician is September 30th.

3. All awards earned must be applied for during the Current Awards Year.

4. It is the responsibility of the member to submit the information to the club statistician on the appropriate form. The statistician may request verification of the information. Information provided should include name of dog. handler, names and dates of trials, class entered scores/legs earned.

5. Club member must have volunteered to work at least 4 hours at our annual obedience trials or at another club event.

6. The dog must be owned or co-owned a member in good standing with TPDTC.

7. The member must have handled the dog through all of the legs or points.

8. The dog must have been registered in a TPDTC class for which the appropriate fee has been paid at the beginning of the session and must have trained with TPDTC for at least two (2) sessions of the current training year (Sept 1 — Aug 31) with at least 50 % attendance at each session, unless the degree is obtained in less than the required sessions specified.

GENERAL AWARDS
An award is given to a TPDTC member who completed
• AKC or foreign obedience degree • AKC or foreign breed championship
A certificate of recognition will be given to a TPDTC member who completed any degree or title recognized by AKC.

SPECIAL AWARDS HIGHEST SINGLE SCORE — SENIOR HANDLER
This trophy shall be given for the highest score earned in any AKC licensed trial. Only the first three qualifying scores earned in the pursuit of a degree shall be considered for this award. Scores considered shall be those earned in the Current Awards Year. The score must be earned while the handler is a member in good standing of the Twin Ports Dog Training Club. All eligibility requirements listed above must be met. This award is to be presented at the Annual Dinner and is for permanent possession. In the even of a tie, the youngest dog, in years, months and days, shall receive the award. This award is to be won by an individual 16 years of age or older.

HIGHEST SINGLE SCORE—JUNIOR HANDLER
This trophy shall be given to a Junior (15 years of age or younger) for the highest score earned in any AKC licensed trial. Only the first three qualifying scores earned in the pursuit of a degree shall be considered for this award. Scores considered shall be those earned in the Current Awards Year. All eligibility requirements listed above must be met. The dog must have been trained, by the Junior. The Junior’s age at the time of the score was earned will determine eligibility. This award is to be presented at the Annual Dinner and is for permanent possession. In the event of a tie, the youngest handler will receive the award. Any questions that may arise concern this award shall be resolved by the Executive Board of the Twin Ports Dog Training Club.

RENO TROPHY
This trophy was originally offered by Mr. and Mrs. Harry Reno to any dog from TPDTC for the purpose of stimulating interest in obedience training and encouraging handlers to work toward Obedience degrees. This trophy will be presented at our Annual Awards Dinner to the dog with the highest average qualifying scores earned in the regular classes in three AKC licensed obedience trial. Only the first three qualifying scores earned in the pursuit of a degree will be considered for this award. The handler must be a member of TPDTC at the time all scores are earned. The dog must be handled to its degree by the person training the dog in class or by a member of the handler’s immediate family. All eligibility requirements listed above must be met. The dog must be owned or co-owned by the handler of a member of the handler’s immediate family. AKC judges and professionals may not compete for the Reno Trophy. A professional shall be anyone 18 years or older who has received compensation for the training of a dog during the Current Training Year that he/she received the score. In the event of a tie, the trophy will go to the youngest dog in years, months and days of age. If the recipient of this trophy should move from this area, the trophy shall be returned to the Club to be retained by the President until the next time it is awarded.

BERTHA CAMPBELL ANNUAL STUDENT AWARD
This award is given in recognition of Bertha Campbell, who upon her death left a significant amount of money to Twin Ports Dog Training Club. The Bertha Campbell Award is for any full-time student, including college. He or she need not be a member of Twin Ports Dog Training Club but must have trained at least one session with the Club. A drawing will be held at the Annual Dinner to select a recipient from the names submitted. The winner will be allowed to train one dog each session during the succeeding calendar year. A different dog may be trained each session and need not be owned by the handler. Names may be submitted at any time prior to August 31 to the Club Statistician.
